Amber Alert issued for a three-year-old taken from a mental health clinic in Manhattan

Update: Child found after Amber Alert. Three-year-old is safe and the suspect is in custody.

An Amber Alert was issued for a three-year-old girl taken from a mental health clinic in Manhattan on Tuesday by a man who could be related to her. The girl is believed to have Down syndrome.

The suspect, Patrick Giblin, suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and is considered suicidal. He was last seen driving east on the Brooklyn Bridge in a black SUV Dodge Durango with New York license plate number GDE4791.

Authorities described him as a 6-foot-tall white male, approximately 50 years old with short brown hair and green eyes. He weighs about 230 pounds.

The suspect was last seen wearing a green shirt, blue jeans and a camouflage hat.
