Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. has some advice for New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.: The next time you're looking for a good time in the Bronx, try the zoo.

Beckham apparently danced so enthusiastically at a strip club called Sin City Cabaret last week that his $25,000 diamond pinky ring flew off his hand and is still missing, TMZ reported.

The gossip item gave the Bronx a moment in the media — but not the moment the Bronx borough president prefers to read about.

Diaz wrote a polite letter to Beckham, 24, thanking him for his visit to his borough, but suggesting that he might try some of the area's more refined establishments for his next visit, the New York Times reported,

“I would love to show both of you gentlemen there is more to The Bronx than establishments such as Sin City, where you risk losing more than your valuables,” Diaz wrote, noting that Beckham's friend Von Miller of the Denver Broncos was also at the strip club on the night in question.

He included a copy of the 2016 Bronx Visitors Guide with his letter, and suggested more wholesome attractions such as the Bronx Zoo and the New York Botanical Garden.

“If you would like to see what The Bronx is really about, and visit numerous establishments that our residents are actually proud of, I hope you will take me up on this offer,” Diaz wrote.

Diaz told the athletes that Sin City has "a long history as a nuisance to our borough." In August, the borough president had tried to get the establishment’s liquor license revoked on account of its association with shootings and prostitution.
