Broadway Week’s 2-for-1 ticket deal extended after blizzard cancellations

After Winter Storm Jonas snowed out last Saturday’s theater shows, Broadway Week is extending its 2-for-1 tickets deal.

The bi-annual event was set to end on Feb. 5, but as Winter Storm Jonas intensified on Saturday, both matinee and evening shows were canceled. So, Broadway Week organizers added another weekend of shows.

In all, 23 shows are extending their Broadway Week ticket deals, including Disney’sAladdin, the Tony-winning coming-of-age musical Fun Home, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new blockbuster School of Rock and the most meta show on Broadway, the musical about making the first musical, Something Rotten!
