NYPD arrested a suspect on Friday in connection with a fatal shooting in the Bronx, according to reports.

Orlando Oquendo, 765 Courtlandt Ave., Bronx,  was arrested for the death of a woman who was waiting to pick her niece up from school, NYPD said.

Maribel Cavero-Reyes, 45, was hit by a stray bullet on Wednesday as the suspect was chasing another man on Courtlandt Avenue, NYPD said. Cavero-Reyes was standing in front of 422 E. 154th St. when she was shot in the chest.

She was taken to Lincoln Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Oquendo, 17, has been charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
