Police are seeking a bicyclist wanted for questioning in an alleged Brooklyn assault against a Prius driver.

On Monday around 7:45 p.m. on McGuinness Boulevard between Meeker Avenue and Bayard Street in Greenpoint, a driver, 59, got into a traffic dispute with a bicyclist, police reported.

The bicyclist allegedly used a bike lock to strike the Prius during the dispute, breaking the car’s mirror, according to police.

Authorities stated that the bicyclist then opened the driver’s door and hit the victim in the head with the bike lock before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The driver was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was treated for injuries sustained to his head and hand, officials said.

Police described the bicyclist as a black man between the ages of 22 and 35, approximately 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark pants without a shirt.
