A Brooklyn shooting left one man dead and his girlfriend hospitalized after the duo was shot while sitting in a double-parked car on a residential street.

Around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, police arrived at 675 Halsey St. in Bed-Stuy after receiving a 911 call reporting a shooting, authorities stated. When they arrived, officers found two people shot inside a black Mercedes Benz on the street.

The man, 33-year-old Ernest Brown of Brooklyn, was taken to Interfaith Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, officials added. He had been shot in the head and torso.

The passenger, Brown’s 22-year-old girlfriend, was shot in the torso and taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, the New York Daily News reported, adding that the shooting suspect was wearing a blue hoodie.

The investigation remained ongoing, and no arrests have been made, police stated.
