Construction worker hospitalized after falling onto scaffolding

A construction worker is in the hospital after he fell onto some scaffolding while working on a Midtown building Tuesday morning.

The first call for help came to authorities just before 10 a.m., police told ABC 7. The building is located on 38th Street, between Sixth Avenue and Broadway.

The worker was taken to Bellevue Hospital in serious condition,CBS news reported.
