A little bit of cash and a single pack of cigarettes together soundlike alousy reason to commit a felony, but cops allege that two people did just that.
The NYPD is searching for two suspects, one male and one female,following a robbery at knifepoint at a convenience store at 230 E. 80th St. The incident occurred shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Dec. 15. RELATED: Man wearing surgical mask slashes teen’s face in Queens: Police Cops said the male suspect displayed a knife and demanded cash from the store clerk. He reportedly made off with $350 and a single pack of cigarettes. The NYPD said he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and later seen wearing a black baseball cap, dark jacket and white t-shirt. Authorities stated that they believe a second suspect, a white woman wearing a medium colored jacket and black backpack, was also involved.
