Dante de Blasio, son of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, is headed for Yale University this fall. His mother Chirlane McCray announced the news via twitter.
McCray wrote in the tweet “So excited for your next adventure, Dante” and accompanied it with a picture of her son holding a Yale University sweater.

Dante de Blasio achieved a degree of fame in New York City during his father’s run for Mayor in 2013.
Dante referred to his father in a video campaign as as “the only Democrat with the guts to really break from the Bloomberg years.”
