Dominique Ansel dabbles in ice cream with two flavors for summer

With summer comes ice cream, and of course if it’s sweet, Dominique Ansel Kitchen is on it.

This Friday, the Cronut creator’s new cafe/dessert restaurant at137 Seventh Ave. S.is opening a soft-serve window with just two flavors ($7 with a housemade cone): burrata with balsamic caramel (with a whole confit strawberry inside, because Dominique Ansel) and gianduja with salted hazelnut brittle, orange mist and sea salt.

The window will be openFriday, Saturday, Sunday, noon-9 p.m.
