The mood of New York City is decidedly less dour this week with the arrival of thousands of Navy sailors, Marines and Coast Guard service members, and these bars and restaurants stand ready to show them a warm welcome.

On Wednesday, for every drink sold, $1 will go to support to the USO, troops and their families. Service members will also get one drink on the house. Also on Wednesday, at Brother Jimmy’s Murray Hill location, the USO Show Troupe will perform at 10 p.m.
