Separate overnight incidents in the Bronx, Queens and Manhattan have left one man dead and several others in area hospitals.

The first in the series of violent assaults occurred shortly before 11 p.m. in the Bronx when two groups of men opened fire after an argument near the 183rd Street subway station on Jerome Avenue, the New York Daily News reported.

Justin Morris, 16, was pronounced dead at the scene, and another man was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital with three gunshot wounds, Pix11 added in a related article, also stating that no arrests have been made.

"There were two guys lying on the ground," a witness said to the Daily News. "One guy looked dead."

Two hours later, a Queens stabbing in Auburndale around 12:30 a.m. left one man injured, though he is expected to survive, the Daily News stated, adding that police were on the scene at the Breifne Pub, near where the crime took place.

Later on Friday morning, two men were shot, one in the chest and the other in the leg, on 116th Street in Morningside Heights. Both survived and were taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, according to the Daily News.

"I heard about five shots," a man who heard the commotion was quoted in the report. "A guy kicked [a victim] twice in the head, said f–k you and left."

Later in the Bronx, a man in Hunts Point was stabbed in the arm around 1:30 a.m. and was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition, according to the Daily News.
