Roger Lewis was one of the standouts from the New York Giants in Sunday’s 27-23 win over the Baltimore Ravens. The undrafted rookie free agent registered his first career catch and touchdown in the win.

And what better way to celebrate from Lewis than make the man who threw that touchdown pass to him feel really, really old?

On Sunday evening, a couple of hours after his touchdown helped improve the Giants to 3-3 on the season, Lewis made a social post that went largely unnoticed. But it was a neat message that underscored just how much the moment mean to Lewis…all while underscoring that quarterback Eli Manning is basically ancient (see above).

Manning is set to turn 36-years old this January and Lewis, a former standout out of Bowling Green, will be just 23-years old in a handful of weeks with a November 27th birthday. So with a 13-year gap in age and Manning now in year No. 13 in the NFL, that means that Lewis got on the bandwagon early before his quarterback went on to multiple Pro Bowls and was twice the Super Bowl MVP. Talk about dedication.
