After the suspect asked customers to donate money to him, he was kicked out, according to police.

Within five minutes, the man returned to the restaurant and used a blade to slice open the waiter’s face, reports said.

“We were just sitting inside eating. All of a sudden, I saw cops coming from everywhere,” David, a witness, said to ABC. “Someone was screaming, people were screaming.”

This slashing was the third within 48 hours after a 23-year-old man in the Financial District was attacked late Monday night, and a cabbie in Harlem had his face sliced on Tuesday, the New York Daily News reported.

The Silver Spurs victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital to have his injuries treated, according to ABC.

Police describe the attacker as male, black or Hispanic and 15 to 18 years old. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.
