Police have released video surveillance of a suspect they say attacked an employee at a Bronx phone store during a gunpoint robbery on Monday afternoon.

On March 14 at about 3:59 p.m. inside a Metro PCS at 827 Westchester Ave. the suspect approached the 20-year-old female employee and took out a rifle, according to authorities.

He then grabbed her by the hair and pushed her into the store’s back room, police said. The man took eight cellphone before going back to the front of the store and removing $4,000 from the cash register.

The suspect then fled the store in an unknown direction.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man, between 35 to 45 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, 200 pounds, with green eyes and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue baseball cap, camouflaged pants and black boots.
