A man’s throat was slashed on Thursday morning in what cops described as a hate crime in Queens.

Authorities said a 24-year-old man was walking with his girlfriend near the corner of Seneca and Gates avenues in Ridgewood at around 2:20 a.m. when they were suddenly approached by another couple.

The attacker then thrust an unidentified sharp object at the victim’s throat, cutting the 24-year-old before weapon-wielding man and his unidentified female companion ran off.

The victim survived his attack and was taken to a local hospital where he received multiple stitches.

Cops released surveillance video of the man and woman wanted for the attack. The man is described as Hispanic and thought to be between 25 and 30 years old with a medium build and about 5-feet-8-inches tall.

His female associate is also thought to be Hispanic and between 25 and 30 years old, and about 5-feet-4-inches tall.

NYPD asks that anyone with information in regards to the attack or the suspects call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
