Inside Look: Six spa-like bathrooms that can make any New Yorker relax

I remember my first experience in a cramped New York City bathroom. During college, I was crashing at a friend’s place in Manhattan and couldn’t believe she shared the closet-like space with her three-member family. My childhood bathroom was bigger and just for me, but, hey, it was in the suburbs, not the Village.

Eventually, after years of sharing bathrooms, a good friend with an even smaller West Village bathroom, and a bathroom with arunning toilet and tiles coming off the floor, I’ve come to except the less-than-perfect NYC water closet.

But for the right price perfection can be found in these six dream bathrooms from around the city.
