Man rubs himself against subway rider on Manhattan train: Police

Police are looking for a suspect they say rubbed his groin against the backside of a woman while onboard a Manhattan subway last week.

On Feb. 24 at about 6:30 p.m. the 28-year-old victim said she saw the suspect get onboard the L train at the Union Square subway station, according to authorities.

The suspect then lifted the victim’s jacket with both hands, while he grabbed and rubbed his groin against her buttocks, police said. The man then got of the train at the Jefferson Avenue station.

Police described the suspect as a 25-year-old Hispanic man with a light complexion, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, tan work boots, blue jeans and a black coat.

Authorities have released a photo of the man on the subway.
