Man shoots at Queens bar after being denied entry: Police

Man shoots at Queens bar after being denied entry: Police

Police are looking for a man that could not take no for an answer.

On Feb. 15 at about 2:50 a.m. the suspect approached the Sports Mania Bar located at 143-67 243rd St. in Rosedale, Queens after being denied entry, according to authorities.

He then fired several shots from a firearm into the front of the bar and fled southbound on 243rd Street inside a white four-door sedan, cops said.

The suspect is described as a black man, between 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall, and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark colored coat, light colored pants, dark colored skullcap and black shoes.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect and the vehicle.
