Police found Mason, 20, unconscious and unresponsive at the corner at around 4:40 p.m. on Sunday.

An NYPD spokesman said Mason was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, including wounds to his chest and legs.

The New York Daily News reported that police were on the lookout for three suspects seen running away on Second Avenue, but no descriptions of suspects were available by late Monday morning.
