Manhattan doctor allegedly masturbates on knocked-out patient

A Mount Sinai doctor has been questioned by authorities based on allegations that he incapacitated a 22-year-old woman with morphine then ejaculated on her face.

Dr. David Newman has not been taken into custody, but he has been barred from seeing patients as police investigate a woman’s claim that he took advantage of her knocked-out state by masturbating on her and fondling her breasts, the New York Daily News reported.

“We are aware of an allegation that has been made against one of our physicians,” the hospital said in a statement quoted by the Daily News. “This is a matter under investigation and we are fully cooperating with the appropriate authorities. We take this matter very seriously and are conducting our own internal investigation.”

The woman’s accusations provide lurid details as to how the incident unfolded, alleging that Newman began masturbating as the patient was unable to move, the Mirror said in a related article. She then felt semen on her face, which she later saw, along with semen on her bare chest, in a bathroom mirror and wiped off with a gown that she saved in a plastic bag.

After she fully regained consciousness, another doctor whom she had told about the incident asked if she would like to call the police, the Daily News added. Instead, she asked to speak to a supervisor only to learn that Newman was the supervisor, at which point she left the hospital.
