MTA bus driver stabs man in Rockaway Beach

Police arrested an on-duty MTA bus driver on Tuesday afternoon after he reportedly stabbed a man in the Rockaway Beach section of Queens.

The driver, identified as 30-year-old Ephraim Henry, was reportedly driving his empty Q52 bus back to the depot at around 1:30 p.m. when he encountered 48-year-old Oscar Williams, who was driving a Honda in the vicinity.

The pair engaged in an altercation over Henry’s wife, who Williams is allegedly dating. Following a verbal exchange, the MTA employee stabbed Williams in the forearm.

Henry was arrested and charged with first and second degree assault and fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon.He faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted, and is currently being held on $50,000 bail.
