Yesterday, New Yorkers came out in droves to to photographManhattanhenge — the phenomenon when the sun aligns perfectly with the city’s grid allowing people to see the sunset from east to west in the Manhattan streets. The best locations to capture the sunsetwere at: 14th Street, 23rd Street, 34th Street, 42nd Street and 57th Street looking west.
If you missed yesterday’s sunset because you were too busy playing Pokémon Go, don’t worry. You can catch Manhattanhenge again this evening. At 8:20 p.m. you can catch a half sunset at the same locations along Manhattan’s grid.
