A man famous for his bus and train thefts through the years is in custody in connection with a Greyhound bus that was stolen out of the Port Authority Bus Terminal, reports said.
Darius McCollum was arrested Tuesday and was being questioned at the 78th Precinct in Park Slope, according to published reports. He was nabbed after cops saw the bus traveling down a Brooklyn street.
McCollum started stealing at a young age when at 15 he reportedly drove an E train six stops to the World Trade Center. That was in 1981, and he's now been arrested a total of 29 times for taking trains and buses, where he likes to pose as a transit worker and drive the routes, according to NBC New York.
He’s even admitted during questioning that he wants to steal an airplane one day, reports said.
