NYC Beer Week 2015: Celebrate craft beer at these events

The New York City Brewers Guild is holding three major events beginning Saturday that gather together all of the local breweries taking part in Beer Week, but there are hundreds of tap takeovers, pairing dinners and other events happening across the city. We picked some of our favorites; check out the full list and get tickets at Eventbrite.

Opening Bash

Beer Week kicks off at the Altman Building with 40 breweries from all regions of the state and an unlimited ticket to sample their brews and snacks.Feb. 21, noon, $65, 135 W. 18th St.

Beer Meets Cheese: A Love Story

Five Boroughs of Beer Dinner

Randolph Beer is highlighting brews from each of NYC's enclaves over a five-course pairing menu that includes shrimp tacos and a gianduja chocolate mousse torte. Feb. 26, 7:30 p.m., $75 , 343 Broome St.

Gun Hill Anniversary Party

The brewery is celebrating its first year in the Bronx with live music, food trucks, brand-new limited edition beers, beer cocktails and new specials every hour.Feb. 28, 5 p.m., 3227 Laconia Ave., Bronx

Motley Bru release
