When a Chelsea-bound M23 bus wouldn’t stop, a java-toting woman went berserk and tossed a red hot cup of Joe into the driver’s face when he finally opened the doors, cops say.

The 45-year-old MTA driver suffered burns to the face and arms, officials said.

As he pulled away from a stop in Flatiron, the woman starting cursing in the street and kicking the3 bus, in an apparent attempt to get the bus to stop.

At 11 a.m. last Tuesday, St. Patrick’s day, the woman flung the hot coffee at the victim “at the intersection of Broadway and W. 23rd Street,” according to a police report.

“The suspect then fled the location,” the report said, “female, white, mid 20's with long hair.”
