Police released surveillance video of a man they say threw a molotov cocktail at the feet of two yeshiva students in midtown Manhattan on Friday.

Although NYPD did not identify the attack as a bias crime, police said the department’s hate crime task force is investigating the incident.

Authorities say the man on video — who was described as white, approximately 5-feet-9-inches tall, and weighing approximately 215 pounds —came up to the two men standing in front of West 37th Street near Ninth Ave at around 1:30 p.m.

That’s when the suspect threw the glass bottle full of flammable liquid with a burning rag, shattering it at the two men’s feet.

The attacker ran off southbound on Ninth Avenue as the fire grew on the sidewalk.

NYPD reported no injuries after the attack, although police are still looking for the molotov-throwing suspect.

The man was last seen in the released video wearing a dark, long-sleeved jacket, a light-colored shirt, dark pants and a backpack.

Investigators ask that anyone with information in regards to the suspect or incident call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
