NYPD seeks man who forcibly touched a girl, 15, on subway

The victim was on the R train near 4th Avenue and 36th Street earlier this month

Police are looking for a man they said harassed a 15-year-old girl riding the R train last week.

The victim told investigators she was riding northbound near 4th Avenue and 36th Street last Wednesday when a man boarded the train, sat next to her and started rubbing her thigh and lower back.

When the girl left the train at DeKalb Avenue, the man followed her and continued to touch her. Eventually, she lost sight of him.

The man was described as an Asian male in his 20s. He's seen in surveillance photos provided by the NYPD wearing glasses, a zip-up jacket and a dark winter hat.
