Police are searching for a man they say slashed a 19-year-old woman in the Bronx during a verbal dispute last month.

According to police, the incident happened on March 7 at midnight in the rear section of 712 East Gun Hill Road in the Bronx.

Police say the 19-year-old woman was having an argument with a 21-year-old woman and an unidentified man before they both slashed the victim across the face and neck.

The female suspect was arrested, but the male suspect fled the scene, according to CBS2.

The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital and treated for nonlife-threatening injuries.

The male suspect is described as a black male, with a medium brown complexion as seen in the surveillance photo recently published by the NYPD.
