An NYPD traffic agent was hit by a car that fled the scene on Thursday in Midtown Manhattan.
The accident took place at 4:15 p.m. on East 37th Street between Park and Lexington avenues in Murray Hill, ABC7 reported.
Police are looking for the car and said they have good surveillance video of the accident, a police spokesman said. Part of the investigation is determining if the agent was targeted or if this was an accident.
The traffic agent was reportedly taken to Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries.
An NYPD spokesman said the video will be released "soon."
