A 23-year-old man was killed early Thursday morning in the Parkchester area of the Bronx, police said.
Police responding to Unionport Road near White Plains Road found Daquan Cooper, 23, with a gunshot wound to the head, and another man with gunshot wounds to his legs.
Cooper was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other man was taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.
Witnesses told the Daily News that shootings are common in the neighborhood, and cops recovered a 9mm shell casing at the scene, where Cooper’s family members and friends gathered after the fatal shooting.
There have been no arrests.
