One of the ‘Village Idiots’ in East Village blast selfie is now a DNC flack

Christina Freundlich has gone from one of the “Village Idiots” to a big shot job with the Democratic National Committee.

Freundlich, according to her Twitter page, is Southern Regional Press Secretary for the Dems and one of her first jobs was to speak out against the GOP’s Jeb Bush.

“When it comes to talking about the state of the economy, Jeb Bush can’t stop digging up the failed Republican ideas that just won’t die. His economic policies outline the same Republican failed policies of the past,” she said in criticizing the candidate’s slam of the current administration’s “zombie economy.”

Freundlich apologized after she and her gal pals appeared on the cover of the New York Post, smiling as they used a selfie stick to take a group shot near the smoky ruins of the massive East Village gas blast that killed two.

“It was inconsiderate to those hurt in the crash and to the city of New York,” she said after the ensuing uproar and television coverage.

According to her LinkedIn page, she has also worked on President Barack Obama’s campaign and for the Iowa Democratic Party.

Her Instagram page is now set to private.
