Support a good cause with great fun at an upcoming charity event.

There are many creative ways to raise money for a good cause, but instead of just putting on a show, the Center for Reproductive Rights is getting the audience involved. At Broadway Acts for Women, celebrities will be taking your bids to perform the song of your choice, live. Who are these stars signing up to for musical Jeopardy? Big names like Patti LuPone, Jesse Tyler Ferguson (“Modern Family”), Lena Hall, Tonya Pinkins and other special guests from Broadway and beyond. Enjoy their antics over a three-course dinner. $50-$250, May 3, 6:30 p.m. 54 Below, 254 W. 54th St.

Who doesn’t like kids fashion? Snag an of-the-moment look while helping one of the city’s oldest and largest nonprofits, The New York Foundling, every weekend in May at petiteSHOP. The store, curated by Kids Fashion Week founders petitePARADE will have clothes, shoes and other products from brands like Alivia Simone, Charm, Elements by Nina, Jess Brown Dolls, Elephantito and more, as well as workshops, snacks and photoshoots, with 10 percent of all sales going to support local disadvantaged families and foster children. May 1-3, 7-10, 14-17; 11 a.m.–7 p.m., 27 Christopher St.

Salute the new month on a boat with Daybreaker in honor of Dan Fredinburg, who was killed in an avalanche on Mount Everest last weekend while climbing to raise funds and awareness for orphanages in Nepal. On Wednesday morning, get an early start aboard the Hornblower Infinity with a morning dance party featuring DJs David Hohme and Me2Me2, plus the Grammy-winning saxophone of Wayne Escoffery and Kojo Roney on the drums. Also expect entertainment like didgeridoo players, costumed performers and other surprises, with a portion of the trip’s proceeds going to support orphans and ongoing earthquake relief efforts in Nepal. $40, May 6, 6-9 a.m., meet at Pier 40, 350 West St.

Not that you needed a special reason to go to Tom Colicchio’s Riverpark, but on May 5 they’re hosting I {Heart} WITS, a gala event to benefit Wellness in the Schools, which promotes food, environmental and fitness programs. Expect a star-studded affair with model Chrissy Teigen, “Frankenfood” host Capon and, most notably, the chefs cooking the evening’s feast: Jonathan Waxman (Barbuto), Alex Guarnaschelli (Butter), Marc Forgione and more. $250-$300, May 5, 6:30 p.m., 450 E. 29th St.
