Police are asking for the public’s help to find an attempted rapist who groped a 24-year-old woman at knifepoint in Bed Stuy Sunday morning.

Authorities said the victim was approached by the man around 6 a.m., when he produced a knife and told her to follow him to a nearby alley between 19 Louis Place and 19a Louis Place.

There, the man sexually assaulted her and ran away with her cell phone, police said.

The victim described the man as a black male, 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches, 190 pounds, with a mustache.

He was last seen wearing blue shorts and a brown shirt.

Police provided a short surveillance camera clip of the man seen walking near the scene of the attack.
