Police are looking for a man who followed a woman into an elevator of a building at 5th Avenue and 14th Street earlier this month, pulled a gun and demanded cash.
The incident took place around 8:45 p.m. on April 7, according to police.
When the victim told the suspect she did not live there, he told her they would go to an ATM so she could get him some cash. The suspect held her hand while hailing a taxi, police said, and when a car pulled up she was able to break free and run to a nearby store.
