The NYPD is looking for a suspect in connection to the sexual assault of a Bronx teenager inside her apartment.

At around 1 p.m. on Thursday, a 13-year-old girl was followed into her building near the corner of Jennings Street and Intervale Avenue in Morrisania by a man who convinced the girl to let him into her residence, police reported.

Once inside, the suspect revealed a knife then used the girl’s backpack to collect property from the apartment, police stated. Afterward, he forced the victim to perform oral sex on him and attempted to rape her.

The suspect then fled the building with the backpack and headed eastbound on Jennings Street, officials added.

Police described the suspect as a black man who was approximately 18 years old, 5-foot-8 and 145 to 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing black pants, black slippers and a light-colored book bag and was carrying a red T-shirt or towel over his shoulder.
