‘Psycho’ house lands on the Met’s roof, like something out of a Disney horror movie

The Metropolitan Museum of Art‘s rooftop garden just got the creepiest selfie op in the city.

A replica of the Bates house from “Psycho” by Alfred Hitchcock has moved upstairs to loom over the museum through Oct. 31. The installation, called Transitional Object (#PsychoBarn), is by British artist Cornelia Parker and was actually inspired by the work of American realist painter Edward Hopper.

Like the actual building from “Psycho,” the house has only two facades, so if it’s creeping you out too much, just walk around the side and take a look at the scaffolding and water tanks keeping it in place. At nearly 30 feet tall, it’s still only a two-thirds scale replica of what the house would be in reality.
