Queens must’ve been very good this year to get two Shake Shacks

Loosen your belts, Forest Hills.Shake Shack HQ confirmed to Eater today that a standalone location is coming to 71-26 Austin St., though no opening date has been set.

This is the second indieShack blessingthe underserved borough; right now,the only way to get a Shackburger is at a Mets game or taking a flight out of Terminal 5 at JFK. The other location, announcedin June, will be inside the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst.
