Rashaan Salaam, one of the more prolific running backs in college football history, was found dead in a Boulder, Colorado park late Monday night.
There were no signs of foul play at Eben G. Fine Park, according to TMZ.
Salaam was the 1994 Heisman Trophy winner as he excelled at Colorado.
He was the 21st overall pick in the 1995 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears but he struggled as a running back on the pro level.
He played for the Bears from 1995-97 and also spent time with the Browns, Packers and 49ers. Salaam also played in the XFL with the Memphis Maniax.
Above is a video of Salaam talking speaking to a high school football team two years ago.
