Ever since “The Santa Clause,” all we’ve wanted for Christmas is a ride in Santa’s sleigh. Well, strap in children young and old, you’re going to the North Pole!
Thanks to the magic of virtual reality, you can sit right beside Father Christmas on his busiest night of the year beginning today at “The Night Before”. Samsung has built two replicas of Santa’s sleigh — one in Herald Square and the other at its “experience store” Samsung 837 in the Meatpacking District — that up to four people can climb inside, strap on Samsung Gear VR headsets and hold on as they rock, vibrate and soar from city to city, helping Santa deliver his presents on Christmas Eve.

“The Night Before” is open now through Dec. 31, except on Christmas Day. Hot cocoa not included — for that, you’ll have to find your own Judy.
