Rosie’s Rage: O’Donnell tweets drug record of man caught with daughter

Rosie O’Donnell is on a Twitter rampage, railing against the man who was shacking up with her missing daughter Chelsea, and defending herself against critics questioning her parenting skills.

One of several tweets O’Donnell directed against the New Jersey man, Steven Sheerer, 25, said: “Sheerer charged (with) third-degree possession of heroin with the intent to distribute.”

Today, she changed her profile photo on Twitter to one of her and Chelsea, who is 17.

Several posts seemed to hint at the troubled teen’s struggles.

“When someone u love is drowning in the rapids – u throw everything u can into the water – hoping they will grab on – stay afloat #believe,” the former talk show host and ex-View cast member tweeted.

Rosie two days ago went public that her daughter, who is battling mental illness and takes meds, was missing.

Cops pinged a burner cell phone Chelsea bought and traced her to Sheerer’s home in Barnegat, New Jersey.

The Asbury Park Press reports:
“Barnegat Officer Nicholas Dapuzzo went to the home and confronted Sheerer at the front door …Noticing Sheerer was acting nervous, the officer pressed Sheerer, who ultimately relented and allowed the officer to search the home. Dapuzzo searched the home and found O’Donnell in the attic with her dog, Bear, according to Germain.”

Barnegat-ManahawkinPatch reported that Sheerer in 2012 was convicted of several charges in relation to his arrest for heroin and child endangerment.

O’Donnell also found herself responding to snide comments about her parenting.

“No mom is perfect – we all do our best,” the mom of five tweeted.
