A shot was reportedly fired during a botched robbery inside a St. John’s University dorm roomWednesday.
The incident started just before 2 p.m. on the Queens campus,NBC 4 reported. According to a statement from the school sent to ABC7, students reported that “three males entered their Hollis Hall residence and displayed a gun, discharged a bullet and attempted to remove money.” The school added that the “police have apprehended the males involved off campus and are currently investigating.”
There is no longer a threat to the campus.
