The teenager was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead, cops said, adding that the Parks Department driver, 37, remained at the scene after the collision.

The incident occurred less than one mile from the Forest Park Skate Park, the New York Daily News   stated.

“I saw blood all over the ground but no wrecked cars, and it freaked me out because I’ve almost been hit at that intersection before,” a nearby teen said to the Daily News.
