There are some pretty pissed off moviegoers in New Jersey today after a screening of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ was cut short by a bomb threat.
The AMC Freehold Metroplex 14 in Freehold, New Jersey was flooded with police and bomb sniffing dogs as audience members poured out of the theatre around noon, NBC New York reports. RELATED:Theater security stepped up for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ It was around 1 p.m. when officials, in the spirit of Star Wars’ Yoda wrote in a tweet:
Update for #FreeholdTwp: Cleared the theatre has been, reopened now it is.
