Police are looking for a man they claim exposed himself on a southbound 4 train.

Around 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, a subway rider was observed on a southbound 4 train near the Union Square station with his privates exposed, police stated.

Authorities described the suspect as a white man between 55 and 65 years old.

Police said to CBS2 that 458 sex crimes have been reported this year on mass transit, up from 299 reported during the same period last year.

“Our teams are catching more sex offenders in the act and more women are coming forward knowing that we are committed to aggressively pursuing each criminal complaint,” NYPD Chief of Transit Joe Fox said to CBS2.
