Police are looking for a trio of fur-loving bandits who broke into a Chelsea store last month and stole 30 fur coats.
On Nov. 16 at 3:49 a.m. the three suspects entered Henry Cowit/Madison Avenue Furs, located at 118 W. 27th St. after throwing a brick through the glass front door, cops said.
Once they were inside, the suspects took 30 fur coats, totaling up to $25,000, and then fled the scene in a black four-door sedan.
In a video released by police, the suspects are seen running around, ripping coats off racks and even dropping some on the floor as they flee with their arms filled with coats.
One suspect, wearing a headlight, is also seen stopping and looking through a desk before returning to grab more coats.
Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. Tipsters can text information via 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577, too.
