Suspects place victim in chokehold during Brooklyn robbery

Suspects place victim in chokehold during Brooklyn robbery

Police are looking for a group of individuals they say attacked a man in Brooklyn earlier this week before robbing him.

On Feb. 8 at about 9:40 p.m. the 49-year-old victim was walking near 38th Street and 15th Avenue when he was approached by the four male suspects, according to authorities.

The individuals surrounded the victim and placed him in a chokehold, threw him to the ground and then kicked him in the face, police said. The suspects took $100 and a credit card from the man’s wallet and fled.

Police have released a video of the suspects.
