MAP: The best Black Friday deals in NYC

Standing in line, braving the crowds and scoring some deals have become a tradition for many New Yorkers. But it’s crucial to have a game plan before venturing out into the Black Friday shopping jungle. Here, we round up some NYC hot spots to put on your shopping route.

ABC Carpet & Home
888 & 881 Broadway
Upgrade your apartment with luxe items from ABC Carpet & Home. This Black Friday, rugs, carpets, furniture, mirrors and lighting will all be 20 percent off. This deal is available online too, with the code GRATEFUL.

Bird
220 Smith St. and 316 5th St. (both in Brooklyn)
The speciality store known for carrying designer goods is knocking 40 percent off clothes and accessories this Black Friday. That’s no small discount when names like Proenza Schouler and Marni are involved.

Desigual
594 Broadway and 530 5th Ave.
Desigual will be offering big savings all weekend long, starting on a 40 percent off sale on Thanksgiving that will continue through Black Friday. Saturday and Sunday, everything will be 30 percent off. Stock up on sweaters, jeans, printed leggings and more with the store’s biggest sale of the year.

Dinosaur Designs
211 Elizabeth St.
The handmade Australian goods specialty shop will be offering 20 percent off handmade resin, sterling silver, brass jewelry and home wares. If you can’t make it to Soho, the deal can also be used online.

Forever 21
Various locations. Visit Forever21.com. Be one of the first people in line at any Forever 21 location on Black Friday and you’ll receive a gift card valued up to $100. But even if you wander in later in the day, you can still get 50 percent off on outerwear and sweaters.

Indochino
435 Broome St.
Score a custom men’s suit for 70 percent off with Indochino’s sale, going on now through Black Friday. This amazing deal is available online as well, with the code BLKFRI.

JCPenney
100 W. 32nd St.
Deals start at 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day at JCPenney and the first people through the doors will receive special coupons randing from $10 to $100 off, redeemable immediately. A select few will score a $500 off deal. In addition to the deals on home goods, cooking appliances, clothes and jewelry, the store will be giving away over $10,000 in prizes.

Macy’s
151 W. 34th St. and 422 Fulton St.
Macy’s Black Friday deals start Thanksgiving night at 6 p.m. and include deals on clothes, jewelry, and home accessories. Women’s coats and juniors clothes will all be 60 percent off. Memory Foam Pillows will be 70 percent off and select Black & Decker kitchen products such as toaster ovens, electric skillets and espresso makers will be $9.99, after rebate.

Mara Hoffman
120 W. 48th St.
Known for her playful, bold prints, designer Mara Hoffman will be offering 30 to 70 percent off selected styles on Black Friday. On Cyber Monday, everything online at marahoffman.com will be 20 percent off.

Moda Operandi
315 Hudson St.
Starting November 23, select styles will be a whopping 50 percent off and a special Black Friday code will score you an additional 30 percent off — major. The secret code: “Extra30,” which can be used online and in stores from Nov. 23 to Nov. 30. Now is your chance to score the perfect cocktail dress or must-have accessories.

Old Navy

Score deals for the whole family with Old Navy’s store-wide sale, starting at 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and continuing through Black Friday. Everything from sweaters, to outerwear, jeans and PJs, will be 50 percent off. Saturday, November 28, everything will be 40 percent off. It’s the store’s biggest sale of the year.

Rebecca Taylor

If you spend all year lusting over Rebecca Taylor’s apparel and handbags, now is your chance to treat yourself. Everything will be 30 percent off on Black Friday. If you can’t make it to the store, the offer is also good online, with the code “THANKFUL.”

Target

This year, even if you don’t get to Target early you can still save. All three NYC locations are offering 20 percent off a future purchase for people who spend $75 or more all day. There is a catch though: The discount can only be used Dec. 4 through Dec. 13. And as usual, they are slashing prices on electronics. A 55’’ Westinghouse LED TV will be down from $600 to $250. Beats Solo 2 headphones will be $97, down from $200. Also, buyers get a free $150 Target gift card when they but an iPad Air 2. There will also be 50 percent off select toys and home décor, and 40 percent off clothes and accessories.

The Body Shop

Sales start early at beauty retailer The Body Shop this year. From Nov. 24 through Nov. 29, customers can score a $35 tote stashed with products, valued at $139. The deal is applicable to anyone spending $36 or more.
