A three-alarm fire on Sunday in a two-story Bensonhurst building continues to disrupt D train service on Monday morning.
D trains are bypassing 18th Avenue in both directions, ABC reported, adding that D trains are running on the N line from Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street. The building that was the site of Sunday’s fire sits under the elevated train line, ABC added.
The FDNY said the fire started shortly after 7 a.m. Sunday on the upper floor of a two-story mixed-occupancy building on Utrecht Avenue near 85th Street, New York One added in a related report, adding that firefighters had the fire under control by 9:30 a.m.
Authorities from the Department of Buildings are still investigating the damage, transit officials said to ABC.
No injuries have been reported, New York One reported.
