A toddler was hospitalized on Sunday morning after being hit by a falling brick on West End Avenue.
The debris fell from Esplanade Residence, 305 West End Ave between 74th and 75th Streets around 11 a.m., striking the child and an adult. Both were rushed to the hospital.
The building has been initially inspected, and a protective fence is being installed, Council Member Helen Rosenthal said in a statement on Sunday.
